Outings Calendar for 2025
Thanks to all our members who volunteered to help with leading trips. More information can be found on the SPS Facebook Group, or through the SPS Trips WhatsApp group.
Next Outing:
Saturday 25th October 8am Woodland Walk, Kinver
Leader: Peter Clarke.
Meet at 8am in the parking area at the top of Comber Road (Turn left at the junction of Stone Lane and the Compa , then bear right to go up the hill at Comber Road) near to ‘Kinver Edge Farm Shop and Country Cafe’ – its shown on Google Maps. The walk is weather dependent. A decision will be taken on Friday evening to go ahead or cancel. The sun will have risen shortly before 8am so we might get some good light. The cafe opens at 9.30am so time for a decent walk before refreshments at the cafe! Bring suitable footwear for walking the woodland tracks and warm clothing. Fingers crossed there will be some good conditions for some great autumnal photos. If possible please post a message on the WhatsApp group if you are able join us to give an idea of numbers.
Recent outings:
20th or 21st September 2025 – Bumble Hole Canal Basin
Walk postponed due to poor weather forecast for the morning. Will try and reschedule for next year.
