Birmingham Street Photography Visit:

This will go ahead on Saturday 7th June, lead by Nick Wood. Current plans are to meet at Stourbridge Junction station at 10am and travel as a group into Birmingham by train. Nick had led this trip before and all who went along were very positive about the experience. Numbers are limited to 12 to keep things manageable. The walk will be around 4 hours which includes coffee/tea/beer/wine breaks! The route is mainly flat and very little energy is required for the outing. Most aspects of Urban/Street Photography will be covered, including: candid portrait shots; architecture; canal-side; bustling street life; internal places of interest (eg Library) and street graffiti, if time allows. If you’ve wanted to try street photography but felt uncomfortable about doing it this is the perfect opportunity to try it. City days are always good as everyday situaitions are ‘one off’ shots. If anyone wants to leave the trip early we’ll try to get you back to the station for the journey home. Also, Nick has offered to stay longer if members want to prolong the trip, and help make sure you get home safely. Fine details to be confirmed on the evening of Friday 6th June, via the WhatsApp group. The trip is weather dependent so if the forecast is poor we may have to cancel the visit.

Nick is an experienced, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic leader and everyone should have enjoyable time with the opportunity to get plenty of unique photos.
